GREEN & GOLD DANCE DETAILS!

Date: Friday, September 19th

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Where: North Small Gym

What to wear: Attire is casual green & gold colors.

Some might wear North jerseys, tutus, green & gold beads, sunglasses, glitter, etc. Go crazy or be chill! Green & Gold is the theme!

Cost: $5

Purchase dance tickets for $5 and raffle tickets during lunch on 9/17 & 9/19.

Dance & Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the door the evening of dance.

Pizza, candy, and soda bar for purchase.

DJ Tr3-Matic with the beats...bring extra cash for song requests at the dance!

Photobooth all night from MJ’s on the Move and More.

Raffle prizes include gift cards to Amazon, Starbucks, target, fat straws, and more! There will be multiple winners!

We still need some items donated for the dance.

Help our staff by volunteering to help make copies!

This is a once a week, year long committment. Ideally, volunteers would begin the week of August 18th or as soon as you've been approved to volunteer (see link below). You may share your responsibility with another parent, but please put both names in the sign up slot. There will be a morning and an afternoon shift. You may stay as long as you are able or until all copies requested have been made. Each volunteer will need to complete Verkada and check into the office with your drivers license.

Clothes Closet Helpers Needed

The RISD Council of PTAs Clothes Closet provides clothing for RISD students in need so they can feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn! Students are referred to the Clothes Closet by their school counselor or nurse, and receive a full wardrobe of clothes.

The Clothes Closet accepts donations of clothing, sizes 3T to adult XXL, that is cute, current and free of holes, stains or much wear and tear. The Clothes Closet also accepts well-loved clothing and textiles, but that should be placed in a separate bag and boldly labeled "World Wear".

Volunteers are needed for sorting donations, shopping, and delivering items. Delivery spots are same day as shopping volunteer slots for North. Please feel free to sign up for both spots same day if desired.

Thank You Canyon Creek Elementary PTA

CCE PTA is passing along the love and support with a $1,000 donation toward RNJH PTA, which continues to serve the kids inter feeder pattern. Former Cougars and new Vikings will continue to benefit from this donation!

North might only be a short stop during your child's educational journey, but our teachers, admins, staff, and students still reap the benefits from an active PTA with a healthy budget.

Please consider supporting our efforts by joining the North PTA and making a donation toward our Write a Check Campaign. OR ask your local elementary PTA to donate if they can! (Link to join/donate on PTA website on flyer below)

Order Your Yard Signs & Decals!

Viking yard signs and decals are available to order NOW in the Viking Store on the PTA website.

IMPORTANT:

If you have a student participating in Athletics or Dance, please take the time to join the North Athletic Booster Club. We encourage all community members to support our athletic and physical education programs through membership, spirit wear purchases, donations and volunteerism.

How To Contribute To YOUR North PTA?

Write A Check Campaign Open

Unlike our elementary schools with many fundraising opportunities, our check writing campaign is our primary fundraiser for North PTA.

With support from members like you, our PTA is able to sponsor many programs and activities for our students, parents, and staff.

All donations to this campaign are 100% used to directly support North. This is so much easier than selling wrapping paper or organizing other fundraisers throughout the year!

All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Your donation allows North PTA to sponsor programs and resources that enrich your child's education.

For example, a donation of $15 contributes towards personal headphones for students

$25 allows PTA to sponsor school dance and pep rally activities
$50 supports teacher training & appreciation luncheons
$100 enables the PTA website to assist in parent communication & much, much more!

Any donation is great appreciated and will be put to good use. Donations are tax deductible and can be given throughout the year. Click on the "Write a Check Campaign" logo above to donate today.

Box Tops for Education

Dear Families,

During this challenging time, our teachers and students need more help than ever. No matter what school looks like, Box Tops for Education is a fast and easy way for you to help out from home.

The Box Tops program has been around for over 20 years, and it really works. In fact, Box Tops for Education has helped give almost a billion dollars to schools since 1996. In 2019, the program evolved to become digital so that you can earn for your school with just the touch of a button.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Buy participating products and use the Box Tops mobile app to scan your store receipt. The app identifies eligible products and automatically adds Box Tops to your school's earnings online. Even if you’re shopping online or doing grocery pickup, you can still submit your e-receipts and earn Box Tops. Twice a year, our school gets a check!

Your earnings may seem small, but they really do add up. The more people that participate, the bigger the impact we can make. Let's give our teachers the support they need and help give more kids the opportunity to dream. Little by little, we can help make a big difference!
